#10 — John W. Sheppard House
This Queen Anne style house was built in 1899 by druggist John W. Sheppard who moved from New York to seek his fortune. Woodall and Sheppard Drug Store opened on the Square in 1896 and sold ice cream year round, quite something in those days.
